We were delighted to welcome Jo Mabbutt for a fascinating day exploring Experimental Gilding. With her wealth of experience in decorative arts, Jo introduced us to a variety of gilding techniques, sharing her expertise, examples and generous selection of materials.

By the end of the day, we had created a wonderful collection of metallic test panels. It was fascinating to see how differently everyone interpreted the techniques, revealing the exciting creative possibilities of gilding. Now we just need to decide what to make with our new-found skills!
