Explore the various uses of metallic decoration.  Use real metal leaf, metallic powders and metallic transfer foil with a variety of techniques to create bold images and intriguing backgrounds.  Develop patterns and designs and experiment with colouring, distressing and texturing metallic surfaces.  Layering with metallic transfer foil will produce striking effects and dramatic images. You will build up a collection of experimental samples which will provide starting points for future use and further embellishment.
