Josie is a freelance letter-smith, artist and book maker – originally trained in calligraphy, heraldry and illumination – she is passionate about using ancient techniques in modern ways and also playing with paper.  She has taught these many and varied skills for over 30 years, enabling people to find their personal form of creativity.  Josie takes commissions ranging from formal Memorial books or documents such as Freedom scrolls to contemporary expressive pieces.
