A Successful AGM and Members’ Choice Display

Although our planned speaker, Jessica Palmer, was sadly unable to attend due to a family bereavement, the AGM went ahead as scheduled. Alongside the formal business of approving minutes and discussing subscription and workshop fee changes, members enjoyed a relaxed and sociable afternoon together.

A particular highlight was the Members’ Choice display, where members brought along a favourite piece of their work. The variety and quality of the exhibits sparked lively conversations as everyone shared the stories and inspiration behind their creations.

The Members’ Choice vote was won by Deborah Clarke’s imaginative concertina book inspired by Alexander Beetle from Now We Are Six by A. A. Milne. Deborah is now the proud holder of the Rose Bowl for the coming year, with her name added to the trophy.
