Gloucester Cathedral tour for study of lettering

In the morning we toured Gloucester Cathedral and its Library to study marks, lettering and old manuscripts. We used these as inspiration in our afternoon workshop back at Highnam. We had a much more comfortable time than the monks who wrote manuscripts like these in north-facing cubicles (called carols) in the cloister.
