A fabulous day was enjoyed by 12 members who were taken, step-by-step, through the process of constructing a Japanese Box, using bookcloth, ready-cut boards (by the tutor) and lovely little bone toggles as clasps to keep it closed.  The tutor was the renowned Sue Doggett, a Designer Bookbinder and teacher at City Lit, as well as having her beautifully bound books in collections around the world.  We were very lucky indeed to have had the pleasure of her extensive experience and skills.
