It was exciting to introduce Christina Sadler who ran our November workshop.  She is a local artist in Cirencester, and she showed us how to create interesting abstract backgrounds with freedom and confidence, that we can then use for our lettering.

We enjoyed a fabulous day, experimenting and playing, it was really uplifting to just use our acrylic inks, gouache and watercolour paints with plenty of water. Christina guided us throughout the day providing colour palettes to keep us away from “muddy” outcomes. This was a popular event with our members leaving with a variety of beautiful abstract backgrounds.
